In what is being described as a defining moment in the history of student governance at Ebonyi State University (EBSU), the Senate House of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) has officially announced the launch of the maiden edition of the EBSU Legislative Week 2026—a landmark initiative set to revolutionize student engagement in leadership, policy, and governance.
The announcement, made by the Senate President, Dist. Sen. Marvelous Elochukwu, has sparked widespread anticipation across the university community, with many describing the initiative as long overdue and highly transformative.
