The Scripture Union Campus Fellowship (SUCF), CAS/LAW, successfully held its Year One Welcome Programme on Sunday, 1st February 2025, welcoming freshers and Direct Entry students into the fellowship and their respective faculties.
The programme, organized by SUCF, was designed to formally receive new members and introduce them to fellowship life on campus. The event was notably anchored and coordinated by Year One students, demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment, and leadership among the new intakes.
Activities during the programme included the opening session, music ministration by Bro. Ebuka, gift presentations, and several other engaging segments that contributed to the success of the event.
The programme was held under the theme “Created for His Purpose,” which was clearly and powerfully expounded by the invited expositor, Dr. Makuachukwu Ojide. His message emphasized purpose-driven living, identity in Christ, and spiritual growth, resonating deeply with participants.
In a show of gratitude and dedication, the Year One Planning Committee, led by Bro. Michael, presented a microphone stand and a plastic pulpit as a gift offering to God on behalf of the fellowship.
A major highlight of the programme was the official unveiling of the SUCF Fellowship Office signpost, conducted in an atmosphere of joy and thanksgiving. The unveiling was carried out by the Fellowship President, Miss Susanna Azubuike.
The programme concluded with prayers, the sharing of grace in unity and love, and a group photograph, bringing the successful event to a memorable close.
The event was widely described as impactful and well-organized, reinforcing the Scripture Union Campus Fellowship’s commitment to spiritual growth, fellowship, and purposeful Christian living on campus.
